An out of control garden bonfire in Stevenage set a house and car alight on Sunday.
The fire service was called shortly before noon after a bonfire in Durham Road, Stevenage sparked a major blaze.
Two Stevenage fire crews called for back up from Baldock and Hitchin to tackle the flames which first caught a car and spread to the rear of the three-floored building.
The fire was declared out an hour later.
No-one was hurt in the incident.
