A baby was among three people hurt in a crash off the A505 near Ashwell yesterday evening.

A rapid response vehicle and two ambulance crews were called to the scene at 6.30pm on Station Road in Odsey following the collision, which is believed to have happened at the turning for the A505.

They treated a man with chest pain and baby with a head injury who were both taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge for further treatment, an ambulance service spokesman confirmed.

A woman with abdomen pain was taken to Lister Hospital in Stevenage for further treatment.

Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
