An air ambulance has landed in Stevenage Old Town following a crash involving a car and a cyclist this morning (Tuesday).
The collision with a black Ford Fiesta occurred at around 9.30am in Primett Road.
The cyclist, a man in his 30s, is believed to have sustained a head injury in the crash, with the car park opposite Waitrose currently closed by police so the Essex Air Ambulance could land.
Update (10.15am): The patient is being taken to Lister Hospital in Stevenage by land ambulance with a non-life threatening injury.
