An air ambulance was deployed after a man collapsed yesterday (Sunday).

Magpas Helimedix were called to a residential address in Hitchin at 8.54am when a man collapsed after suffering severe breathing difficulties.

The man was taken to Lister Hospital, in Stevenage, by land ambulance. He was described as being in a serious but stable condition.
