A MAN was taken to hospital following a collapse on Saturday morning.
At 8am The East of England Ambulance Service (EEAST) and Magpas Helimedix air ambulance arrived at an address in Baldock after a man in his 40s suffered a cardiac arrest.
An EEAST Crew on the scene had resuscitated the patient, but he still needed specialist medical care. The Magpas Helimedix anaesthetised the man, and they helped control his breathing, administered drugs, fluids and antibiotics to prevent any infection.
The man was taken to the Lister Hospital in Stevenage by land for further care.
