An air ambulance was called to Stevenage this morning after a man fell from a roof.

The Essex & Herts Air Ambulance was called to Trafford Close along with a rapid response vehicle and paramedics at about 9.50am.

The man in his 20s is believed to have fallen from the roof of a property from a height of about three metres.

He was taken to Stevenage’s Lister Hospital for further treatment, but an ambulance spokesman said it is not believed he sustained serious injuries.
