The air ambulance were called yesterday morning after a car crashed into a lamppost.

A man in his 20s was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital to be treated for serious injuries after a car hit a lamppost on Woolgrove Road in Hitchin at around 9am.

The man was released from the car which had rolled onto its side by firefighters. Two other people were treated for their injuries on the scene before the man was flown to Addenbrooke’s Hospital at around 10.38am.
