The A507 has been shut today due to fallen trees blocking the road.
Both sides of the road are closed between Shefford and Clophill after a number of trees came down at about 2.20pm in the stormy weather – the remnants of Hurricane Bertha.
The Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit has asked motorists to avoid the area and a highways team has been called to remove the trees.
