The A507 near Shefford was closed both ways for more than two hours yesterday after a crash involving a car and a motorcycle.
The crash happened at The Causeway in Clophill – which leads on to the A507 – at around 4.30pm and a rapid response vehicle, an ambulance crew, ambulance officer and response car from East Anglian Air Ambulance were sent to the scene.
The motorcylist was treated for leg and hip pain before being taken to Bedford Hospital’s south wing for further care.
The patient’s condition is not believed to be life-threatening, an ambulance service spokesman has told the Comet.
The A507 was reopened just after 7pm.
