The westbound carriageway of the A505 is closed between Baldock and Letchworth after a crash this morning.
The carriageway from the B656 Royston Road to the London Road roundabout is closed - causing severe delays on Royston Road heading into Baldock.
The crash took place around 11.15am.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
