The A1 has been shut in both direction after a serious crash along the Biggleswade stretch.
Emergency services are at the scene of a multi-vehicle collision, which took place on the southbound carriageway in Biggleswade between the roundabouts for Homebase and Sainsbury’s.
Both lanes remain shut at this time, and the extent of injuries is not known.
