A slip road at junction 7 for Stevenage has been closed after a crash this afternoon.
Police, ambulance and fire crews have all been called to the roundabout near the Novotel, and the A1(M) slip road has been closed.
A police spokesman said a silver Reneault Clio and a green skip loader may have been involved in the collision, which took place at about 12.15pm.
Emergency services remain on the scene.
An ambulance spokesman said a woman in her late 20s has been taken to the Lister Hospital with non-serious back and neck injuries.
