The A1(M) is closed southbound this morning from Biggleswade North to Junction 10 at Stotfold due to an overturned lorry.
The incident happened shortly after 7am.
The Comet understands the lorry shed its load of parcels across the carriageway after th etrailer of the vehicle overturned.
Traffic is expected to return to normal around 11:45am. Diversions are in place until then.
