The A1(M) has been shut this morning after a crash involving a van and a motorcyclist between the two Stevenage junctions.
Police were called just after 10am to reports of a collision involving a van and a motorbike on the southbound stretch of the motorway between Junction 7 and 8 for Stevenage.
The carriageway is closed at Junction 8 southbound while emergency services attend the scene.
There is currently no further information about the crash or any injuries sustained.
