A stretch of the A1(M) motorway has had to be closed after a motorcyclist came off his bike following a collision with a car.
The accident happened on the northbound of the A1(M) at junction 7 for Stevenage.
Police and the ambulance service were called at 3.53pm.
The road has been closed from junction 6 to 7 while emergency services deal with the incident.
The rider of the motorbike has no injuries but the vehicle needs to be recovered.
Motorists should expect delays.
