A1(M) rush-hour delays caused by four-car crash near Stevenage

Commuters faced huge delays last night on the A1(M) after a four-car collision near Stevenage.

A silver Nissan Micra, red Mazda MX, a blue Vauxhall Vectra and black Vauxhall Insignia were involved in the crash in lane two of the northbound carriageway, near to Junction 7 for Stevenage.

Emergency services were called to the scene at about 5.15pm but no-one was taken to hospital for further treatment.
