A woman has been hospitalised after a crash last night (Monday).
Emergency services were called to the scene on Lonsdale Road, in Stevenage, following a collision between a red Peugeot 106 and a blue Honda Civic.
The Peugeot driver became trapped and had to be freed by a fire crew. According to police she was then taken to Lister Hospital with serious injuries.
The road was closed off by police but reopened by 11.10pm. No-one else was injured in the incident.
