Two people were taken to hospital after two crashes within 15 minutes of each other last night (Wednesday).
Emergency services were first to called to Stony Lane in the hamlet of Tea Green just after 5.30pm after a blue Renault Clio and a grey Toyota Yaris collided.
Two people were taken to Lister Hospital in Stevenage with slight injuries.
The road was partially blocked while the cars were recovered and was clear at 7.10pm.
At 5.45pm police were called to the A505 at Beech Hill after a crash involving a grey Honda FR-V and a silver Mercedes E320 on the carriageway heading from Luton towards Hitchin.
One lane was temporary closed while the cars were removed. No one was injured.
