Train passengers are facing delays of up to 30 minutes between London King’s Cross and Stevenage.
The social media team at Virgin Train East Coast tweeted the delays are being caused by a ‘train fault’ affecting the line, while Govia Great Northern have said a train has broken down and is blocking the northbound track at Alexandra Palace.
A tweet from the train operator said: “Due to a broken down train at #AlexandraPalace one of the northbound lines is currently blocked. Working to get the train moved ASAP.”
