A woman was taken to hospital yesterday afternoon after a two-vehicle crash in Biggleswade, which saw police close a road while emergency services attended.
Police and the ambulance service were called to the crash on London Road at about 2.25pm, and officers closed the road at the junction with Elm Road shortly afterwards.
A rapid response vehicle, two ambulances and an ambulance officer attended.
An ambulance service spokeswoman said: “A patient, believed to be a woman in her 20s, was taken to Lister Hospital for further treatment for a suspected foot and back injury, in a stable condition.”
