A 12-year-old girl was airlifted to hospital with head and leg injuries after a collision involving a car in Letchworth over the weekend.
The incident in Eldefield, near the western edge of the town, happened at about 5pm on Saturday.
Police told the Comet this morning that the girl was taken by air ambulance to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge with “a head injury and a suspected broken leg”.
We are awaiting further details from the ambulance service.
