ESSENTIAL resurfacing work is about to start on two roads in Baldock. Some disruption to traffic is inevitable, say Hertfordshire Highways.

The work on Yeomanry Drive will start this Monday, February 6, and is expected to take three days. It will be carried out over the length of road from the junctions with Wallington Road to Ringtale Place, including the roundabout.

One lane will be closed and there will be temporary traffic lights.

The work on Pinnocks Lane will start on February 9, and is expected to take two days. This work will also be done in phases - the first from High Street to Pembroke Road and the second from Pembroke Road to the A507 Clothall Road.

The one-way system will be temporarily suspended.

In both operations, the working hours will be from 7.30am to 4.30pm.
