Toddler hospitalised after Hitchin car collision

A THREE-year-old girl was taken to hospital after being in collision with a car at the weekend.

The incident happened on Westmill Road, Hitchin, on Saturday around 2pm.

The car which the girl was in collision with, a grey Honda Accord, remained at the scene. No action has been taken by police.

The East of England Ambulance Service (EEAST) was alerted, and a fast response car from Hitchin and an ambulance from Letchworth GC attended the scene.

The girl suffered from slight injuries, and was taken to Lister Hospital following treatment at the scene.
