Three Stevenage men held by police after air rifle fired from vehicle

Three men are being held in police custody after an air rifle and a knife were found in their car.

Police were called to a Shangrila Farm, Todds Green, at 7.30pm, after reports of shots being fired from a vehicle.

Officers traced the vehicle to Caxton Way in Stevenage, before searching it and recovering an air rifle and a knife.

Three Stevenage men – aged 19, 20, and 25 – have been arrested on suspicion of possession of an imitation firearm and possession of a bladed article, and remain in police custody.
