Three arrested following burglary in Hitchin

Three people have been arrested this afternoon (Monday) in connection with an alleged burglary.

Police were called to Charlton Road, Hitchin, at 12.22pm, to a report that an outbuilding had been broken into.

One person was arrested on the side of the A505 and the other two suspects were arrested near to the A505.

A tweet from Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit, said: “For anyone witnessing the police activity along A505 Hitchin to Luton, burglary suspects disturbed, chased through fields. All 3 arrested.”
