A BUSINESS in Stevenage is at the centre of a bomb scare this morning (Tuesday).
It is understood independent advocacy agency POhWER on Primett Road received a threatening phone call just before 11am.
Police cordoned off both Primett Road and Lonsdale Road, where the business also has offices, and workers were evacuated.
The all clear has been given at Lonsdale Road and the road reopened.
Primett Road is still blocked off as police search the offices.
A police spokesman said: "The caller made threats to the property and as a matter of precaution both offices were evacuated.
"We are still at the scene investigating, but believe the call was a hoax.
