A convoy of coaches and cars will be heading towards Wembley today as 14,000 Stevenage Borough fans prepare to cheer their team on in the FA Trophy Cup Final against York City.
The big match kicks-off at the home of English football at 2pm and manager Graham Westley is hoping Boro can win the trophy for the second time in three seasons to get over the disappointment of Monday's defeat at Cambridge United that denied Boro a spot in the play-off final, also at Wembley, with a place in the Football League awaiting the winners.
A party has been arranged by the club in The Broadhall Suite at the Lamex Stadium for 6pm where all supporters are invited to welcome the players back home hopefully with the trophy. Entry is free and there will be a disco, buffet and licensed bar until midnight.
Don't forget to read the first report of the big match on The Comet website www.thecomet24.co.uk this afternoon and interviews with the manager and players and there will be a full gallery of all the pictures from the game.
