Will join the 8th annual summer Reading Challenge, run in conjunction with other Beds County Libraries, to raise vital funds for Keech Cottage Children's Hospice. For every book borrowed from the Resource Centre and read to, or by your child, they can collect a stamp on a collector's card and receive stickers or puzzles free from the Resource Centre. Carry on borrowing books all summer long and for every stamp card completed there is a small award for the collector. But most importantly, for every stamp collected on each child's card, the challenge's sponsors, Whitbread, donate funds to Keech Cottage Hospice. In addition to the smaller prizes awarded at the end of the holidays there will be a draw at the Resource Centre from completed collector cards, with two winners receiving £5 book token each. There are other activities available at the Resource Centre to go along with the Reading Mission, such as word searches, colouring pages, puzzles and more. So come along to the Resource Centre and start collecting for a very good cause.
