A third person has been charged with murder after a man was found lying in a Stevenage street with fatal stab wounds.
Destao Pedro was charged with murder last night after 47-year-old Mark Altabas was found in Angle Ways during the early hours of Thursday morning and later died at Lister Hospital.
The 18-year-old from Forest Road in Walthamstow – due before Hatfield Remand Court today – is the third person to be charged with murder, with Robert Crook, 57, and Katie Holmes, 43, both from Long Leaves in Stevenage, due before St Albans Crown Crown today after being charged at the weekend.
Two other people arrested in connection with the incident – a 35-year-old man from Stevenage and a 49-year-old man from North Herts – have been released on bail.
