Celebrates their 25th anniversary this year and have met regularly in the Bailey Hawkins room of the Village Hall throughout this time. From 10.30 - noon on Thursday mornings during term-time children and their carers enjoy free play, snack time, craft activities and singing. The latter activity concludes the session and is organised by Helen Beavis with her guitar. Mary Hobman, who runs the group, says that there is plenty of play equipment for ages from birth to 3 years. All are invited to join and the benefit is enormous for the child and carer to socialise from the very outset with a peer group that the child may go on to school with. It also means that children are ready for preschool and school when the time comes. There is also the opportunity for adults to discuss their child related problems with others in the same boat. Mary can be reached on 01438 871512.
