Was represented in the recent Sandy Fun Run and Sandy Ten Run by Jeanette Taylor and Colin Osborne, both of whom would like to thank all who supported them on the day and through sponsorship with a wonderful £430 being raised for the Mission. Colin will support Ickwell May Day again on Monday, May 1 with Sandy Branch's stall and this year's Market Stall outside Budgens will be on Saturday, May 20 from 9am onwards. A May Ball is being organised at Tempsford Village Hall on Saturday, May 13 from 7.30pm to raise money for the Moggerhanger Lower School. In addition, following Colin's talk at Moggerhanger Parish Church, part of the proceeds will be donated to The Leprosy Mission. Tickets are £15 each including a buffet and can be obtained from Teresa on 01767 641335 or ring Colin on 682032 for further details. Colin has recently been elected as The Leprosy Mission's Treasurer for the England and Wales National Council. He has served on the Council for the past five years and is also a member of the Personnel Sub-Committee. Colin explains that the fight against leprosy is a continuing one and with double digit inflation in some third world countries, additional funding is needed just to continue the same level of work, this is a great challenge at the time for the Mission
