CYCLISTS are wanted to appear in a feature being made by The One Show.
The BBC production team will be filming in Stevenage on Thursday and are looking for volunteers of all shapes and sizes to join in a short cycle trip which will be filmed for the show.
The feature is about Eric Claxton, the engineer who designed Stevenage’s cycleways but was left disappointed by how few people used them.
Mr Claxton had been heavily involved in planning the town to promote safe and clean transport, similar to that enjoyed in countries such as the Netherlands.
Television presenter and former paralympic athlete Ade Adepitan will lead the ride.
Those wanting to take part will meet with their bikes at the cycle junction connecting Grace Way and Martins Way at 4.30pm.
