Two weeks ago, I wrote in my column about Letchworth Arts and Leisure Group wanting to start a group called Go, and that I had not a clue what it was. I am grateful to a phone call from a lady who told me that Go is an oriental game of strategy using black and white stones - not that far off then, was I? I bet the chain gangs carried those sorts of stones when they got to Oz! Seriously, if you want to join this group, which I understand was a feature in this town sometime ago, and LALG as a whole, then GO to David Bookshop in Eastcheap or ring 684631.
