Are pleased to confirm details of their annual charity concert sponsored by Legend Finance, also of Stevenage Old Town. This will feature old favourites, the Lydian Trio, who have agreed to perform a concert at Holy Trinity on Sunday, March 19 starting at 3pm. This will be followed by a FairTrade tea in the parish room within the church building. Tickets costing £6 including tea, are available from the Choc Box in the High Street, and from any of the charity's officers. The musical content will be predominantly light classical, but with appeal for children too if families wish to attend. The charity's trustees are also delighted that over the same weekend an exhibition will be mounted of paintings and drawings by Leonard Vincent. Besides being an accomplished artist, Leonard was one of the principal architects responsible for planning the New Town. Many of the works displayed will be available for sale, as well as prints of selected works. The exhibition will be open, free of charge, from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, March 18 and from 11am to 2.30pm on the Sunday until shortly prior to the concert. FairTrade refreshments will be available during exhibition hours.
