A Christmas toy appeal has seen a number of donations from readers – but more generosity is needed.
The Comet has teamed up with Keech Hospice Care for this year’s appeal, which aims to bring joy to children over the festive period.
The hospice is seeking unwrapped toys for youngsters in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire who have terminal and life-limiting illnesses.
Both Stevenage Borough Council and North Hertfordshire District Council are also backing the appeal, which was launched at the Comet offices last month.
If you would like to donate a new toy to the cause, visit our offices in Primett Road, Stevenage, between 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
