Whitwell on November 1.There is a new Welfare Benefits Advisor for the Citizens Advice Bureau (North Herts District) who is starting a weekly outreach within the GP surgery at Whitwell. The aim is to provide the local community in Whitwell and surrounding rural areas with a service to advice on the following issues: -

are you claiming the right benefit to maximise your income;

are you not claiming benefits when you are entitled to them;

any benefit queries/problems

All ages and circumstances welcome. All queries dealt with in complete confidence.

The first surgery begins on Wednesday, and will be on every Wednesday and is based on a drop-in service - no appointment necessary.
