Held a service of Blessing of the new Baldock and District RBL Standard at St Mary's Church on June 25, this was officiated by Andrew Holden. Mr B Chapmen the Branch Standard Bearer carried the Standard, also present were President Mickel Muir, Chairman Alan Drury, Vice Chairman Rob Eales and members of the Branch. In the evening it was paraded by Chairman Alan Drury at the Hertfordshire Tattoo in Halibury. The branch has a good social committee who have arranged a programme of events for this year. The highlight of the year will be the dedication of the new standard at St Mary's on October 8 at 3pm It is hoped that a parade will take place. The Baldock RBL meet every third Tuesday at 7:30pm in the RBL hall rear of the Rose and Crown, Whitehorse Street, Baldock. Anyone who is interested in joining us is welcome. The Baldock Branch has really put Baldock on the map. RBL members are all talking as to we have grown in four months, come along and support us, make Baldock grow. Also help us when poppy week comes along, we need your support.
