DRIVE an Audi, watch Aston Villa play or let Toni and Guy trim your locks.
These are among the auction and raffle prizes that Greig and Debra Hearne from Hitchin have had donated towards their fundraising event for Lister's special care baby unit.
The proud parents of baby Ethan suffered the difficulties of a premature labour and are holding the charity night at the Red Lion pub in Preston, near Hitchin, on November 25 to raise money for the unit that helped their boy.
Debra had a biopsy at 29 weeks after a cancer scare which led to Ethan being three months premature at his birth on March 21. He spent the first three months of his life in the unit where he had a blood transfusion and battled with pneumonia, a lung infection and the eye disease ROPT Stage 2.
However, apart from ongoing eye issues and the development of asthma, Ethan is now a healthy child and his doting dad wants to give something back.
Mr Hearne said: "The more money we raise the better it is for the special care unit. We just hope to raise as much as possible".
Simon Caldwell, of Audi, Hitchin, made the first donation which led to a spiral of gifts. He said: "We are happy to help the community and we just hope someone enjoys the car."
At the auction the opportunity to drive a Mercedes Benz S-Class, BMW Z4 Roadster or an Audi for the weekend will go to the highest bidder.
Football memorabilia up for grabs includes Aston Villa tickets, a signed Arsenal hand, a Blackburn shirt, Everton and Liverpool photos, Manchester United football and stadium tour tickets, Middlesbrough pennants, a Spurs tour, Luton match tickets and a unique Inter-Milan signed tie.
Other items lined up for auction are England fast bowler Mark Illott's Essex county shirt, designer mobile phones and the couple are also hoping to pick up some pieces from top golfer Tiger Woods.
Raffle prizes include £70 worth of hair products donated by Hitchin's Hair by Allan and a cut and blow dry at Toni & Guy's, dinner for two at the Redcoats Farmhouse, near Hitchin, cinema tickets, phones and headsets, wine and many other goodies.
Family friend David Fleckney and Greig's work colleague Paul Douglas have agreed to get their legs waxed while another work colleague Seamus McCarthy will have his beloved goatee shaved off. Even Greig has agreed to have his head shaved to raise money for the unit.
The money raised will go towards a charity called enhance herts which is running an appeal called Building Blocks for children and baby services at Lister Hospital.
