TWO men have been rescued by the fire service after they became stuck in a cherry picker this morning (Wednesday).
An aerial ladder platform was deployed at the scene near Austin’s Funeral Directors in Bancroft, Hitchin, to rescue the men after the cherry picker stopped working while they were 20ft up.
The emergency services were alerted at around 10am and the men were safely returned to ground level by 10.40am.
