Teenagers arrested in Stevenage after two people ‘seen with handgun’

Two teenagers from Stevenage were arrested last night after reports of two people with a handgun.

Police were called to Bradman Way at 10.46pm – with firearms officers and the dog unit both attending the scene.

Following a police search, males aged 18 and 15 were arrested on suspicion of possessing an imitation firearm.

A Herts police spokeswoman said a BB gun was recovered by officers during the search.
