POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a robbery and an assault on two teenage boys in Letchworth GC on Friday.

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a robbery and an assault on two teenage boys in Letchworth GC on Friday.

The victims, two 15-year-old boys, were approached by two other boys who assaulted them both in Norton Way North between 9pm and 9.30pm.

One of the victims was searched and had his valuables stolen – a wallet, iPod and a necklace.

Both boys suffered cuts and bruising to their heads. The offenders were described as in their late teens.

Dc Jeanette Walker said: “This was a particularly nasty assault on two boys who were minding their own business.

“We are following a number of lines of enquiry however, I would like to appeal to anyone who believes they may have seen this incident take place to contact me.
