A TEENAGER was stabbed, following an altercation last night (Wednesday).
Police are investigating the incident, which happened in Hitchin.
A police spokesman said: “We can confirm that police were called to a property on Bingen Road, Hitchin, shortly after 9.15 pm last night, following reports of an altercation within the property.
“A 15-year-old male was treated for a minor wound to his left thigh. Detectives are continuing with their investigations.
“As this is a live investigation, it would be inappropriate for us to comment any further at this time.”
The East of England Ambulance Service was also alerted to the scene.
Spokesman Gary Sanderson said: “We attended an assault along Mattock Road at 9.17pm and a male in his teens was taken to Lister with minor injuries.”
