Stevenage FC have called a press conference for lunchtime today where it is expected they will announce former England, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur striker Teddy Sheringham as their new manager.

The 49-year-old would replace the outgoing Graham Westley whose contract expires at the end of the month.

The position would be Sheringham’s first in management, although he has been working as an attacking coach with West Ham United.
