Stotfold’s Gifford Dance Academy won through to a prestigious national final at the weekend after they travelled to Blackpool to take part in the semi-finals of the ‘That’s Showbiz’ competition.
The competition attracts hundreds of top stage and dance schools from all over the country and is the biggest group dance event held in the UK.
The girls – wowed the judging panel once again this weekend and went on to win the ‘Best Small Group’ category and ‘Adjudicators Choice’ award meaning instant qualification to the grand final in front of 11,000 people in Liverpool in March.
The girls, all aged between ten and 21, train weekly at the Stotfold dance school each Saturday run by sisters Rebecca and Lucie Gifford.
