HOMELESS people can now enjoy a hot cuppa thanks to a generous donation to The Sanctuary in Hitchin.
The town's Round Table has donated over £1,200 to The Sanctuary to build its new kitchenette.
Manager Judy Rencontre said: "The residents are really, really grateful for it.
"It's now a very nice area for them to meet and enjoy a hot drink.
"Everyone's very appreciative and it enables them to make tea whenever they want it."
The Sanctuary helps homeless people by giving them shelter and staff work to help sort out their problems with housing.
