FIREFIGHTERS were called to a derelict building yesterday (Wednesday) morning, following a suspected arson attack.

Crews from Baldock and Letchworth GC attended the GW King building in Blackhorse Road, Letchworth GC at 9.29am after a fire broke out in a rubbish bin.

Police were called to the scene to secure the building after the fire was put out at 10.12am.

The fire is thought to have been started deliberately.
