A “superb” annual town celebration took place on Saturday.
The sun shone on Baldock Day 2014 as visitors enjoyed live music, food stalls, inflatables, an obstacle course and a variety of fitness demonstrations in High Street.
Baldock Town Partnership chairman James Lunnon said: “It was a great day. We were blessed with the weather and the whole day was superb.
“The rain only started at around 6.30pm, so a lot of people stayed to look around the shops and have something to eat.
“We had a really good food court and a superb farmers and craft market so I think people were very happy with that.
“The infant boat ride, the penalty shoot-out ran by Baldock Town Football Club and the golf competition were all very popular.
“It’s a great community event that brings an increased footfall to the town and I think the traders were all very happy. Young and old attended and there was a good flow to the day.”
