BIGGLEWADE Athletic Club has been shocked by the sudden death of one of its most senior members.
Steve Worrall, 55, died suddenly while on holiday with his family in Norfolk.
Steve was a level four coach joined the club after moving to Biggleswade with his wife Karen in 2001. Both were accomplished runners.
"He will be sorely missed by everyone," said club secretary Stuart Galloway.
"Only recently several members of the club, who had been coached by Steve for many months, ran the London Marathon.
"Steve was one of life's true gentlemen, always cheerful, always patient, always calm and willing to help.
