Ryan Brunt made five appearances for Boro before injuring his ankle against Cambridge United
Ryan Brunt has returned to Bristol Rovers following his spell at Stevenage.
The striker joined Boro in December on loan until January and made three starts and two substitute appearances.
He injured his ankle in the 3-2 victory over Cambridge City on December 28, and it is thought that the 21-year-old is now likely to be out for a couple of weeks.
The striker is the second forward to leave the club in the past fortnight following Lee Barnard’s return to Southend United following his loan spell at the end of December.
