Stotfold Twirlers have returned from national competition and England selections with a number of trophies and medals.
Six girls from the baton twirling club attended the nationals, which took place at the K2 leisure centre in Crawley – where the club gained 17 top-10 placings. Grace Endersby and Mila Crook both came third, with second and third placings for Amber Maving and sixth place for Heather Wright and Katie Strutt in the duo competition.
Five girls – Grace, Amber, Mila, Katie and Victoria Salisbury – also entered the England selections, where they were all placed to compete in Dublin for the European Cup in July.
Coach and club leader Sonia Crook said: “I am so proud of these girls and their results. They show dedication and commitment to their sport and work extremely hard, which shows in their results.”
